President William Ruto is Set to Launch Several Development Projects ahead of Bungoma Visit

Bungoma Governor Kenneth Makelo Lusaka has disclosed that all leaders in Bungoma have united in preparation for President William Ruto’s upcoming visit to Bungoma County on Sunday, August 27th, 2023.
During a press conference held in Bungoma Town, Lusaka announced that elected officials from the region convened with National Speaker Moses Masika Wetangula on Saturday and reached an agreement to unify their efforts ahead of this important event.
Among those present at the meeting were Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa, Webuye West Member of Parliament Dan Wanyama, Webuye East Member of Parliament Martin Wanyonyi, and Bumula Member of Parliament Jack Wanami Wamboka as well as other elected representatives.
The President will lead interdenominational thanksgiving prayers at the Bungoma airstrip grounds located within Bungoma Town on Sunday the 27th of August 2023. On Monday the 28th of August he will launch an industrial park at Sang’alo Institute of Science and Technology situated within Kanduyi Constituency. The project is a joint effort between both national and county governments aimed at promoting trade, agriculture and business generally.
Additionally, President William Ruto plans to inspect ongoing construction projects such as Chepkurkur Technical Training Institute and Bungoma North Technical Training Institute in Tongaren alongside construction work along Misikhu-Tongaren Road.
Finally, during his visit to Western Kenya sugarcane farmers are scheduled to meet with President William Ruto where they plan to discuss reviving Nzoia Sugar Company
