In a tragic turn of events two brothers Ernest Moses Wafula also known as Communicado and John Nyukuri Wafula faced untimely deaths under mysterious circumstances. Ernest a worker under protocol Department for the Bungoma County Government lost his life when he was tragically thrown from a multi-story building in Laini Moja Matisi in Kitale Town on September 9th 2023.

Shockingly around the same time John his brother succumbed to a brief and unexplained illness on September 21st 2023 in Webuye. This double tragedy left their family and the community devastated as they mourned the loss of two loved ones within a short span of time.

Recognizing the deep bond between the brothers it was decided to hold a joint funeral to honor their memories. On September 30th 2023 Ernest and John were laid to rest side by side in Kimilili located in Bungoma County. The somber occasion brought family friends and well-wishers together to pay homage to the lives and legacies of Ernest and John.
