10 Dead on a tragic Road accident on Nakuru-Eldoret Highway

In a tragic incident on Monday morning, ten individuals have tragically lost their lives following a collision between a matatu and a trailer on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway. The incident took place at around 3:00 am when a 14-seater matatu was traveling towards Nakuru, while the trailer was heading in the direction of Eldoret.

The accident occurred specifically at the Ngata stretch of the highway, and those who were injured in the collision were immediately rushed to Nakuru Level 6 Hospital for medical attention.

The severity of the crash has raised concerns among authorities, as similar accidents have been distressingly frequent on this particular road.A police officer present at the scene described the collision as a very serious accident with a significant impact. It took nearly an hour to separate the two vehicles, as they had collided head-on.
